Thank you for your interest in the Metropolitan Association of Professional Travel Agents (MAPTA). Our website has been designed to serve our travel agent and associate members. For the privacy of our valued members, this site is secure and is only for current members.

MAPTA is the only east coast travel association comprised of travel agents, and suppliers for the purpose of networking and establishing strong business relationships. Our mission is to educate our members by conducting trade shows and events on new and emerging travel destinations. The purpose of destination meetings is to teach the logistics of the destination by presenting its geography, noted hotels and cultural aspects. In some instances it is illustrated by itineraries designed by tour operators. MAPTA presently has 98 travel agent members and 46 associate members. MAPTA has three Worldwide Trade Shows a year - Winter, Summer and Fall. Contact Helena Marks, MAPTA Director of Educational Events for details.
